Same unreliable and arrogant company makes both. Same disingenuous company makes both. MSFT has refused to acknowledge the Hotmail Hack as it refuses to acknowledge a cascade of Windows vulnerabilities, and MSFT's pattern in fixing numerous significant Vista bugs that are systemic deal breakers is consistent with their behavior in blowing off the Hotmail hack.
Yeah, we know the issue of hackers reverse engineering MSFT's hotfixes. MSFT often recognizes hackers by taking the arrogant stance "and you're with whom?" It's a culture that refuses to admit mistakes and refuses to take care not to make so many.
